Blogging is for Everyone

Blogging can be scary. The act of writing down thoughts for the world to see can be very intimidating for people, especially if, like me, you have it in your head that only ridiculously talented people can blog.

"Well, I don't have enough time to sit down and write elaborate, entertaining posts," you grumble.   "Besides, I'm boring compared to what 'So and So' does on her blog.  I don't have any skills to share, or funny stories."

I'm here to tell you that anyone can be a blogger. All you have to do is-wait for it- blog! That's it! Of course, that doesn't mean that you're going to become a famous blogger overnight. Your fanbase isn't going to leap from zero to millions of readers automatically. Famous bloggers work hard to become what they are today, but even they had to start somewhere.

Blogging is a way to show your thoughts, ideas, creativity- almost like an online journal.  It doesn't take a lot of time to write posts (This post took me seven minutes to complete), and they don't have to be deeply insightful or fantastic. Just get out there, and start writing. It's fun, and you can create blogs for pretty much anything. You don't have to be the greatest philosopher or comedian to 'qualify' for blogging. All you need is to type one word after another until you have a post written. And repeat.

Tada! You, my friend, are now a proud blogger.

Happy blogging!
